It’s hump day again and welcome to this weeks edition of  “5 MOST POPULAR ANDROID APPS FROM LAST WEEK”.

Just to remind you, these apps are the ones that are most likely new, recommended or have recently been juiced(upgraded) and you can download the app by clicking on the featured image.

1. Glympse Keyboard

Glympse Keyboard

The main Glympse app is all about social location: sharing your current location with friends and family. Glympse Keyboard takes that idea and embeds it in a keyboard. Tapping the relevant button generates a link that you can paste into another app (WhatsApp and Gmail are two suggested by Glympse) when letting someone know where you are. Glympse Keyboard is the fastest way to share your location from within any app. There are two options – Quick Send or Full Keyboard. Both use the Glympse app to swiftly generate a link that is pasted into your current WhatsApp conversation, Gmail message, or any other app you may be in.

2. HeadsUp

HeadsUp displays notifications while your device is on. It will inform you about new notifications, while you’re browsing/gaming/watching movies, by showing a minimal, beautiful popup, allowing you to open them directly or perform an action.

3. Ready Contact List

Ready Contact List

Ready helps you to make calls confidently by showing the recent history related to the caller while the phone is ringing. The app provides actionable follow-up shortcuts after hanging up, and a convenient way to save unknown contacts after calls. You can find everyone in one place: the main screen aggregates the call history and the favourites.

4. CamScanner HD – Scanner, Fax

CamScanner HD

CamScanner HD turns your smartphone/tablet into a scanner. With CamScanner, you are able to digitize any paper documents by photo shooting. Simply take a picture of any paper documents such as receipts, agreements, notes, whiteboards and so forth, and CamScanner can auto-crop image, enhance image quality and create an industry standard PDF file. You can easily share the scanned documents via Email, Google Cloud Print, and fax, upload them to cloud like Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net, and manage them by grouping or searching.

5. zLauncher

Nokia Z Launcher was released a while ago for most of the popular Android phones. This is a new home screen launcher app that is developed by Nokia (aka Microsoft Devices) and claims that they are making a more intelligent and personal mobile experience that’s better suited for real life. This app is still in pre-release stage and has been released for early feedback from the users. We have the Z Launcher Pre-Release APK for download as well for those who can’t download from the Google Play Store. Click on the featured image to download.

NOTE: This app currently optimized for popular devices including Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, S4, S3, Moto X, HTC One and Sony Xperia Z1.

Throughout the day, Z Launcher is learning how you use your phone and promoting your favorite apps so you can get to them faster.
Whether you’re texting a certain someone, trying not to search for apps in the car, or multi-tasking at the office, your screen changes based on your everyday life. The more you use it, the better it gets.
