Samsung Galaxy S III gets a “Mini-Me”(Samsung Galaxy S III mini)
As the name implies, the Samsung Galaxy S III mini is a scaled down version of its big brother Samsung Galaxy S III. The S III mini still has the sleek look of its big brother when it comes to the design department. The white model has brushed silver around the edges of the phone and Chrome highlights encircling the home button beneath the display and also around the camera lens. Simple and elegant.
Inside the S III mini, as expected with a device aimed at the mid-range market, All the features of its big brother have been scaled down. Sitting at the core of the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini is a dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A9 processor and a 1GB RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that lies beneath the battery to give you more memory space if you need it.
The device runs on an out of the box Android v4.1(Jelly Bean) OS. Unlike its big brother, the S III mini comes with a 5MP rear facing camera and a VGA front facing camera for video calls. All these lie beneath a 4” AMOLED display screen.
The Galaxy S3 mini also has a full range of motion responses that can be set, like calling a contact you have on display by simply lifting the phone to your ear and other functions that are available in its big brother.
